“Flying Pace Theme Song” by Flying Pace - Serious Business on BTR [ep82.5]
Flying Pace is a four-piece based out of Brooklyn. The band’s melodic, multi-layered and weaving indie-rock music is topped off perfectly by the hushed, sultry vocals of frontwoman Kristie Redfield. The rest of the lineup — Marta DeLeon, Josh Arenberg, and George Flanagan — is made up of veteran New York City indie rock musicians whom have “dabbled” in a number of other local bands. /// Featured song: “Flying Pace Theme Song” /// Flying Pace, deciding to release their new record in two parts, premiered Quick As A Wink earlier this summer —- Quiet As A Mouse is the second half of the new album and available Friday, July 20th. /// Complete radio broadcast and playlist: http://b-t-r.co/LRjdcw /// Flying Pace on Bandcamp: http://flyingpace.bandcamp.com /// Flying Pace on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/flyingpace

Luff - BTR Live Studio [ep72] (by btrlivestudio)
Initially formed in 2003 as a cello/guitar duo, Luff has evolved into a four-piece group comprised of Mike Hurst (bass), Aleks Gylys (drums), Robin Pickering (guitar), and Sheila Sobolewski (guitar/vocals). Together the Brooklyn band creates driving, layered post-rock, sounding like a cross between Mogwai and Silversun Pickups. Each of their songs conveys various moods and seems well-suited for soundtracks — one moment it quivers and weaves, and the next it dips from a crunchy climactic high to a softer, melodic respite. /// Luff’s new EP, Maybe It’s Just Sleeping, is out November 11th. /// Complete radio broadcast and playlist: http://bit.ly/sZyA6v /// Official website for Luff: http://www.luffmusic.com/
